World Vision

 

There is much unrest in the world today! The book of Acts is the story of the men and women who took the Great Commission seriously.  They began to spread the news of a risen Savior throughout the most remote corners of the  then known world.  They too were living in a time of much unrest, and yet, we read that the world was shaken by their ministries.  We also read how, through the hands of the apostles, many signs and wonders were done among the people. Today, with endtime communication at its best, we can contact almost any place on earth with telecommunication.  How much more should we be carrying the gospel to indigenous people groups that have not yet received the knowledge of the risen Christ!

 

The photo was taken of Dr. Jones ministering to college students from Solo, Indonesia on Prayer Mountain at a student retreat.  The students were comprised of Muslims, Buddhists, Catholics and Christians.
